Steve is a lifelong District 23 resident and fourth generation cattle rancher and landowner. With his wife of 49 years, Deb, they share 4 adult children and 14 grandchildren.

With 20 years of experience as a Faulk County Commissioner plus nine years on the Faulkton School Board, Steve is ready to serve and ready to lead the people of District 23 as their advocate in the State Senate.

Polls are open 7 am to 7 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in South Dakota for the Republican Primary.

Absentee and early voting opens on April 19, 2024. Contact your local county auditor to request an absentee ballot or visit to county auditor to vote early.
